Sweet Bonanza 2500: Pragmatic Play Raises the Candy Bomb Cap

Pragmatic Play has added Sweet Bonanza 2500 to its candy-themed slot series. The look is familiar: sweets and fruit-flavoured treats on a 6×5 grid. What changes is the size of the multipliers, which the studio says are higher than in earlier versions. The game's RTP is 96.52%, and volatility is rated extreme.

How wins are formed

There are no fixed paylines. Instead, the game pays on clusters: eight or more matching symbols anywhere on the grid trigger an instant cash win, and larger groups of 12 or more are also part of the pay structure. Players watch for groups of the same sweet rather than tracing a line across the reels.

Winning symbols tumble away and new ones drop in, so a single spin can produce several wins in a row.

The free spins bonus and candy bombs

Four or more lollipops on the grid start the bonus round, which opens with 10 free spins. This is where the game's main feature sits. During the bonus, candy bombs can land carrying multipliers of up to 2,500x.

Bomb values stay on screen while the tumbles play out. Once the sequence ends, they are added together and applied to the total win for that spin.

The round can also be extended. Three or more lollipops landing during the bonus add five more free spins, and this can happen again whenever the condition is met, so the bonus can run beyond its starting 10 spins without being retriggered from scratch.

Two different maximums

It's easy to confuse the game's two headline numbers. The 2,500x figure is the highest multiplier a single candy bomb can carry. The maximum win is a separate and much larger cap of 25,000x the stake. The first is a component of the bonus; the second is the ceiling on what a round can pay.

Sweet Bonanza 2500 is the latest entry in a series Pragmatic Play describes as timeless, which is why the candy world stays intact. The official game page lists an RTP of 96.52%.
