Features
Wazdan has released 9 Balls, a football slot timed to the World Cup this summer. It runs on nine reels and is set in a stadium. The studio says it is aimed at sports fans and slot players alike. It went live on 2 June 2026.
On the numbers, it is a high-volatility game with an RTP of 96.04% and a maximum win of 2,500x the bet.
Penalty Kick and xG Chance Level
The base game is built around the Penalty Kick label. It can appear on a randomly chosen reel and stays there for up to 15 spins. When its countdown reaches zero, any symbol that lands on that reel pays its prize. Until then, nobody knows which symbol will cash in.
The xG Chance Level works before the spin. Players pick from three levels and multiply their bet to improve the odds of reaching the bonus round. A Cash Out Chance Level is also listed among the features.
Cash Infinity symbols add a second layer. They are worth more than standard symbols and stay on the reels until the end of the next bonus round.
Hold the Jackpot and the Champion Jackpot
The bonus is Hold the Jackpot, a Wazdan mechanic that returns here with a football theme. Three Bonus symbols on the three central reels trigger it. The round is played across all nine reels with respins. New symbols stay in place through the three respins, so the grid fills up as the round goes on.
The top prize is the Champion Jackpot, worth up to 2,500x the bet. To win it, a player has to fill the entire grid during the feature.
Other options
The rest of the feature list covers Volatility Levels, Buy Feature, Ultra Fast Mode and a Gamble Feature. Wazdan also mentions customisable game options.
Michal Imiolek, Wazdan's CEO, describes the game as a mix of football-inspired action and bonus mechanics designed to keep up anticipation through a session. He says Penalty Kick adds suspense to each spin, while Hold the Jackpot and the customisable options should appeal to both players and operators.
9 Balls is offered in more than 30 languages and all currencies, and Wazdan says it is available to players worldwide.
