3 Million B.C.: Betsoft's Wheel-Driven Caveman Slot

Three million years is a long time to spend frozen in ice. The cavemen in Betsoft Gaming's 3 Million B.C. at least spent it sitting on a pile of treasure. The video slot uses that setup for a prehistoric hunt for riches, with a prize wheel at the centre of the action. It went live on June 25, 2026.

The game runs on a 5×3 grid with 243 ways to win. Betsoft lists the RTP at 96.20%, the volatility as high and the hit rate as 29.21%. The maximum win is 10,000 times the maximum bet.

Cash symbols, collectors and prizes

In the base game, COLLECT symbols on reel 1 trigger payouts when CASH and BONUS PRIZE symbols land on the adjacent reels. The bonus prizes come in five tiers: MINI, MINOR, MAJOR, MEGA and GRAND. Coins are used to break the ice around the frozen cavemen, and each freed character can start the Hold & Win feature, which reveals valuable rewards and ancient riches.

WILDS and HOARDS appear alongside the other symbols, and the hoards can trigger together in the same round.

The three Treasure Hoards

Three TREASURE HOARDS sit above the reels: UPGRADE, RESPINS and EXTRA. Each is triggered by collecting matching WILD symbols, and each changes how the wheel pays out.

• UPGRADE raises the wheel prizes several times before a final spin decides the win.
• RESPINS awards a number of respins set by the wheel. A multiplier applies to every symbol that is part of a win during those respins. The ANCIENT DROP can also place a CASH or BONUS PRIZE symbol in an empty position.
• EXTRA spins a wheel with one to three pointers. The win is the combined value of the prizes the pointers land on.

When several hoards trigger at once, their effects stack, which raises the reward potential of that round.

Buy Bonus options

The BUY BONUS button gives instant access to the RESPINS hoard, where UPGRADE and EXTRA can also trigger. The COMBO BONUS option triggers all three hoards at once.

Frederik Hermann, Senior Account Management at Betsoft Gaming, describes the slot as an experience where the wheel guides the key moments, with the three hoards offering different ways to reveal a reward. 3 Million B.C. is available across Betsoft's partner network, and a demo version is listed on the studio's site.
